Christian Duriez

Christian Duriez (PhD) is research director at INRIA and leader of the team DEFROST: DEFormable RObotic SofTware (Université de Lille, École Centrale, INRIA, CNRS). He is a specialist in mechanical modeling, simulation and control of soft robots, in contact modeling, and in haptic feedback on surgical simulations. His research aims to improve how deformations in robotics is taken into account.
